This fragment of the psychoeducation tool shows the neurophysiology in 3D animated images that have never been shown before. In particular what is going on inside the synapse, the way the neurotransmitters are released in the synapse cleft, the at random binding by the receptors, as if their tentacles are of sea anemones catching the molecules (based on exact models of receptors and neurotransmitters) and the osmotic pumping back by the transporters. Most of this has not been shown in this way before and was only possible in a close cooperation of the director with a nod to art and science and the 3D animation team reinforced with a biologist.
